Shortcut maker for DocumentsUI 1.2

This application enables users to create a shortcut to DocumentsUI, the default native file explorer for Android 7.0 Nougat. It is also compatible with Android 8.0, though users will find that icon and name customizations are not available on this version.

For devices running Android 7.0, the application provides options to customize both the name and color of the shortcut icon. My testing was conducted on a Google Pixel phone and a Google Pixel C tablet, where it performed reliably.

Once a shortcut has been created, users have the option to uninstall the app without losing functionality. Notably, support for Android 8.0 was added on August 28, 2017. Users on this version will find that the application serves purely as a shortcut to the default file explorer, with no customization features included. The app will detect if it is being run on Android 8.0 and will automatically launch the default file explorer before closing itself.
